Michael S. Brown, MD

    Michael S. Brown is board-certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He currently practices at Oklahoma Spine, Sports & Rehabilitation, a division of Neuroscience Specialists. Dr. Brown joined Oklahoma Spine, Sports & Rehabilitation in 2001. Prior to coming to Oklahoma City, Dr. Brown served as Medical Director of Outpatient Rehabilitation and Co-Medical Director of Inpatient Rehabilitation at Comanche County Memorial Hospital, Lawton, Oklahoma.

    Dr. Brown grew up in the Dallas area. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Baylor University, and a Doctorate of Medicine Degree from Baylor College of Medicine. He completed a transitional year at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas and a residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.

    Dr. Brown holds active membership in the American Academy of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. Dr. Brown has given multiple presentations at medical conferences, continuing medical education seminars, and community education presentations on topics including “What is a Physiatrist,” “Nerve Entrapments,” “Concussion and Neck Injuries in Sports” and “Escaping the Pain - - Arthritis.”
