Christopher M. Bouvette, MD


    Christopher M. Bouvette is board-certified in Physical Medicine, Rehabilitation, Electrodiagnostic Medicine, and Pain Medicine. He currently practices at Oklahoma Spine, Sports& Rehabilitation, a division of Neuroscience Specialists. He received a Bachelor of Science (Summa Cum Laude) from the University of Louisville, Louisville, Kentucky. He received a Doctorate of Medicine (Alpha Omega Alpha) from the University of Louisville School of Medicine, Louisville, Kentucky. He completed his internship at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana and his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Prior to joining Neuroscience Specialists, Dr. Bouvette was the Medical and Residency Director of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Baylor Medical Center in Garland, Texas. He served as a staff physician of Physiatric Medicine Associates, Dallas, Texas, which is affiliated with Baylor College of Medicine, Dallas, Texas. Dr. Bouvette has received several honors including the University of Louisville Dean’s Scholar Award, University of Louisville Nettlerock Academic Scholarship, University of Louisville Science and Research Award and Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society Scholar.

    Previously, Dr. Bouvette served as the chair of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Residents Physician Council. Currently, he serves as a subspecialty Medical Director within the Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital.

    Dr. Bouvette has presented nationally and internationally at medical conferences on topics including but not limited to “Electrodiagnostic Evaluation of Peripheral Nerve Entrapment Syndromes”, “EMG and Carpal Tunnel Syndrome”, “Bladder Management in Spinal Cord Injured Patients”, and “Diagnostic Evaluation of Spine Disorders.”
